Amsterdam was a gathering place for all sorts of people, from all corners of the planet. People who wanted to come, and enjoy the very relaxed laws when it came to certain substances. You heard all sorts of accents when you went out to the clubs, but, there was no mistaking that voice for someone else. Not when you had heard it in every octave it could range. That same gruff, but kind voice that she had come to love, flagging down the bartender she had just released. Those light eyes of hers traveled down the bar aways, before finding him, and she watched as he spoke to the man on the otherside of the bar. Watched as he leaned over to take the mix for her drink, while the man she had just scolded, poured him up a double. She couldn't help the fond, but sad little smile that appeared on her lips. It was only when the bartender came heading her way with her drink, that she finally took her eyes off of him. "Thanks, I'll pay for his." The man nodded, off to add the charge to the tab she had started at the beginning of their night at the bar. Buying someone a drink was piss poor, but, it wasn't for anything other than him being kind enough to prepare her drink, as he knew her to like it. If she didn't, his work wouldn't be rewarded, the money would go into the hands of these slubs, and really, she didn't think they deserved it.
Moving away from her spot at the bar, she moved along the distance between them, squeezing in, and slipping onto the stool next to him. "Hey," She said softly, placing her drink down. "Thanks for that. The bartenders here.... well, they suck ass, though, I'm pretty sure I'm forever ruined, thanks to you." The boy could sling drinks, and she hadn't yet found someone who made her drinks as perfectly as he had. That wasn't really what had brought her over, it was just the excuse. It had been two, almost three months since they saw each other, or spoke. Could anyone blame her for wanting to know how he was? "You okay?" Really, she wasn't sure where to start. The weeks previous had been a whirlwind, and there wasn't anyone who occupied time in Vivian's mansion, that hadn't heard about the extremely nasty throw down between the two brothers. The following day, she hadn't made it past the main hall, before Dom's son was filling her in on all of the details. It had left her head completely swimming, she could only imageine how things must have been feeling for him at the moment. Shannon wouldn't have been any help, not that she had seen him in the house since his return. It seemed the young vampire was always out. Either on his own, or with his former owners. It was likely he could have been spending time with Eden, she couldn't see the two of them staying apart now that he was back.
"I heard, about everything. You know the weres, they have big fucking mouths. Perfect example, right here." Alright, so she didn't really gossip, but she didn't have any problems speaking her mind. "I should have come to check on you, and I feel like the biggest asshole for not. I thought you wouldn't want to see me.... at least at first, but that bullshit excuse lost cred after a month, huh?"
