"You have a point, I'm no expert on women, and they'll understand each other better, than any of us ever will." Sophie had never been the kind of woman to have close girlfriends. When they had been together, it had been all about the two of them, and no one else was really welcome into the equation. That hadn't been healthy, and it was probably one of the many reasons things had fallen apart for the two of them. Love shouldn't be all consuming. In moments of passion, yes, but not all of the time. "Yeah, sort of... weres don't tend to like my kind. They call us mimics, or say we're not really supernaturals... thieves even. Not all weres feel that way, obviously. The older ones though, they hold the grudge." Ian recalled Eden telling him that Jun hadn't been born a were, so, it might just be something that rested with the born weres. "I've heard talk, but I don't agree with all that stupid stuff. Unless you do something to me personally, or to someone I love, I'm fine with you." Race wasn't an issue to her at all. Ian placed his arm around Eden, giving her a little grin, before he took a swig from his pint. "Just over by the stage." Jun clarified. "Um... let's just say Mr. Kerr has been spotted." There was no telling just how long he had been watching all of them, nor what he might be planning. What if had intended to approach the group, or was just getting a good look at Ian for later, or something. Then there was always the chance that Jun was just expecting the worst of him, but could anyone really blame her? No, she didn't think so.
Shannon had been there for most the evening. In fact, he had arrived not long after Vivian, among the first wave of guest. For most of the party, he had kept to himself, had a few drinks, talked to a few people he had met before. Nothing spectacular, nothing exciting. The grouping of his brother, Jun, and Eden had of course caught his attention. Just a few months before, he would have been among them. It would have been his arm around Eden, laughing with his brother, as the girls went completely stupid over one another. Callum seemed to have found him out, as he moved across the club, and broke his concentration. "Cal, yeah, I'm fine. You?" Shifting his hand into the pocket of his trousers, he lifted his brink to his lips, a bloody cocktail, that he had been sipping on for half the night. "You look good, man. Everyone does, over... there. I'd say tell the girls I said so for me, but I doubt they'd want to hear." Jun certainly wouldn't, and Eden was with her own company, having compliments from other men handed her way might not exactly be appropriate. "You had a drink yet? They are rubbish, I can't stand the thought of going back for another one." Shannon knew that if he did, he would just stick to beer, and forget about any other item on the menu meant for their kind.
