How this place wasn't on every top ten list of vacation spots was beyond him. It seemed to offer everything one might want in a holiday. Or, was he enjoying himself so much, that he simply thought it was perfect? It was stunning to the eye, the food was amazing, the beer was fucking cold and tasty, every which way you turned, there was something more scenic than the last corner. Then there was the matter of company. Croatia couldn't take the credit for that, obviously, but it certainly wasn't having any sort of negative effect on their moods, nor how they were getting along. Though really, it wasn't often that they couldn't get along. They had never really fought. There might have been an awkward moment, or two, where things seemed as though they should go to a new level, but never did. The little reminder that most people would have taken the leap by now kept creeping up on them, but like most guys, Shannon did a bang up job either ignoring it, or changing the subject entirely. "That was fast," His green eyes were focused on the path the driver had just pointed out to them. Winding aways from the road, nearly invisible to the naked eye in this light, or lack there of. Before he had even thought to take his wallet back out again, the driver was pulling off back onto the road. "Oh... thanks." He said lightly, taking the hand that she offered him. "Eh, dinner was more expensive." Shannon teased, tugging her gently to his side. "Oh, darlin, I am so ready to find this fucker." More so he was excited to see what she would think of it. When you got excited about something, and wanted to share it, you felt a bit of anxiety about whether they would agree with you, or not. Honestly, he couldn't see why she wouldn't be over the moon about them as well, but there was always that small chance, and stranger things had happened. The path lead them deeper, and farther from the crowds, till finally they found some seclusion. "Tha'll do perfect." Trotting over, he squatted down next to the water, and gingerly dipped his hand into it. "Oh fuck yes, this is it." And with that, he began to strip away his clothing.
"Well, if you're going to be insistent, I could make you get naked right here, throw you on the bar, and give everyone a show." To assure him she would, her hands crept up under the hem of his tank top, her fingers lightly pressing into his waist. The boy had been surprisingly understanding, and accepting of what she was from the very start. It had helped that he had been around vampires, weres, and gifted humans before. Juniper revealing that she was a were hadn't even caused him to bat an eye. Make a few feline jokes, yes, but it hadn't kept him from hitting on her, flirting with her. Even after she laid down all the bad points about what she was to him, he hadn't really wavered at all. The only issue they had, was his forgetting that silver was not a friend, but that could be forgiven. It wasn't as though he showed up wearing armor made out of the stuff, just to keep her away. "You're probably right. I might not be able to speak their language, but my smile, eyes, and ability to flirt do." At least the girl knew what cards she was playing with. Her eyes were striking, she heard it all the time. Her smile, it was blindingly gorgeous, and Cal knew that she could charm the pants off a man. As she had done so to him many a times. "If you're lucky, I'll get you off the hook too. That way you don't have to like, blow the cop or anything. Though that would be hot, and I'd want to watch..." What? He was just bragging about his skills in oral. "Okay, that's not going to make me stop, like ever... if anything, oh lordy, boy." She was tempted, tempted to give it another harsh pull, just to see if he'd make good on his promise. Anything to get him to growl again. Really, he should have known that of all things would get her going. "Have you not been with me all day, Mr. Leprechaun?" The street was buzzing, far more than she would have expected it to be, and it didn't take them long to find a local, the fountain was a different story.
