Henry had always wanted things done a certain way, his way, which was how she had come to exist in such a world, such a home. It had been one of the few he hadn't already owned, when the two of them arrived. For whatever reason, he'd allowed Vivian to chose a man, that she thought would be suitable for them. The mansions along the river had called out to her, most of all. They were absolutely stunning, and reflected the cities culture beautifully. It's size was... monstrous, she knew, but that too had been chosen for a reason. The place had needed to be big enough, so that they could live almost separate lives, if they so wished. And they had from time to time. They could go entire days, haunting the place, and never running into one another. They'd slept in separate rooms most of the time, and only shared a bed, when they actually wished to be around one another. It had been an odd arrangement, but it had been fitting for two souls, who were so completely different. Now, Jaida too had her own room, but the girls never went out of their way to avoid one another. Each had their own space, but they enjoyed spending time with one another. Having that same closeness. This way, it was more possible for them not to step on each other's toes. All this space, and structure could be a bit daunting at times. It would be thrilling to live life in a shoe box once again, if only for a while. Callum clearly wasn't the sort of person to trust easily. Even if that bond of sire, and childe had been created between them, she didn't honestly see him laying down at her feet, like an obedient dog, ready, and willing to do what was needed to please her. No, she suspected that he would rebel, and become more of a headache than she was willing to deal with. Having power over a human was one thing, but trying to control a fledgling vampire was quite another. The extra strength, speed, the urge for blood, it could all be too much for one to handle. Vivian wasn't even sure she'd be ready for such a challenge yet. She was barely at an age, where she had the strength to turn another, why rush it? "No, not ever.." With her heels resting against the floor of the garage, she leaned forward, pushing Jaida back against the seat of her back, while her hand guided her thigh up over her hip. There was no reason they couldn't make themselves comfortable.
"So am I, it's... fucking weird, isn't it? I remember when you were born, and those few months we all lived together, before ma went all... well, how she normally is." Shannon had bounced around from other family members homes, to foster homes, and had never had a stable home life. The times he had been with his mother, they had been the worst of all. Days would past, when she wouldn't bother feeding him at all. During most nights, she would leave him home alone, while she went down to the pub. Then there were all the times, he had held her hair, while she worshipped for porcelain god, or been too stung out to move from the couch. He wouldn't wish his childhood on anyone. But he could recall Heather talking about Callum. How things would have been different, if his daddy hadn't taken him away from her. For the longest time, he'd imagined that his brother had lived a charmed life. It was only after they began communicating on their own, that the truth came into sharp focus. Those same problems their mother had suffered from, he had picked up, and was now suffering from. "I'd like to just find out who I need to speak to about it, so I don't have to rely on them." Like his brother, he had no intention of remaining their pet, but he first wanted to get some grasp on this curse of his. Or at least find someone who he could speak to about it. That want wasn't going to be enough for him to ignore the fact that Callum was so unhappy. At least now, he knew that he wasn't alone, that there were others out there like him. That did wonders more, than anyone could have predicted. "Oi... you prat." Shannon returned the shove, glaring at his brother, though the annoyance wasn't really there. "See if I share my cigarettes with you."
