King was used to waking up in strange places with whomever she'd ended up with the night before. It was an occupational hazard and she usually tried to make a break for it before whoever it was woke up; she was a bit of an expert at relieving someone of the goods in their wallet and then sneaking out while they were passed out. Hey, you did what you could and that's what she was good at. Well. That and conning; with a face like hers, it was hard to believe she'd ever tell a lie and that worked to her advantage in so many ways.
Unfortunately, it wasn't working this morning. Or whenever it was; there was no daylight streaming in and she didn't know what time it was even if her biological clock woke her up at almost the same time daily. It was disoriented and she was already a bit crotchety because of it. Well. That and the fact that whoever's bed she'd been in was one less person. He'd taken off, whatever the hell his name was, and she was left to fend for herself, which was fine except for the part where he'd taken all his things with him and she wouldn't be getting a 'tip' tonight. "Qing wa cao de liu mang," she cussed quietly as she gathered her own things.
Making her way out from the room she'd been in, King caught on that something was afoot here and it was definitely something she wasn't a fan of. This was looking more and more like she was somewhere she oughtn't be. Oh, she'd known it was a ship when she'd gotten on it. But it was making a helluva lot more noise now than it had been the night before. Which, to her mind, only meant one thing. Passing what served for a window but wasn't really, she nodded to that, expression darkening. Definitely out in the black. When she found him, she was going to kill him. If she didn't get killed herself first; stowaways were rarely looked upon with kindness, whether it was intentional or no. She was going to have to be real quiet about this and not get herself caught or something.
"Ta ma de," she whispered to herself, backing up to head to the room she'd been in. Seemed most like for them not to look for her there. Or so she hoped.
