"Hm." There was a lick of satisfaction in his non answer, wondering almost idly what would happen if she were to meet him in either of her other ones. If they were to think so little of her because of her mother and her eh, well alright part of the scorn she had earned with her hobbies. Admittedly.
The Inn was nothing to scoff at. It was nothing to her father's home, or Belmont's. At times she missed the luxury she had come from, food at her beck and call, plush sofas to lay upon and a bed filled with as many silken pillows as she desired. Feeling regret wouldn't do her any good though. The Inn was steady enough , along with the Tavern beside it. The people there smiled at her when she returned at least, "And if I were? Would you welcome me back into your little comfortable slice of home?" It was a rhetorical question, because she knew the answer would be no and she wouldn't trust it if the answer was yes.
"I wouldn't, were I you. But for different reasons probably." She said it off handedly, focusing instead on her drink so she could use the tiny straw to fish out the cherry in it.
