There was something vaguely familiar about his face when he smiled, affable as it seemed to her, although she couldn't pinpoint why and she didn't get that feeling that arose when it was associated with something bad so she didn't dwell on it. Glynn was small, and she could have run into him at the market or some such.
At any rate, he definitely seemed comfortable here in a way that implied he had been in the Bounty often. So best not to be too prickly if she was going to be seeing him often, it's not like there was another pub to choose from in Glynn.
