Briar wondered how much of the Aurellian sensitivity to cold was because they just weren't used to it, or some actual physiological thing. The real question, of course, was if it would happen to her if she stayed here long enough. Would she eventually feel uncomfortable once she went back to her birth city?
It wasn't something she wanted to think about though, so she did what she usually did with things she couldn't solve and shoved them down to focus on work.
She grabbed a bottle mechanically, the strongest thing on the cheap end that Aurellians still seemed to enjoy. No need to give someone something they would want to spit out even if technically it fit what they requested. Cheap whiskey would warm someone up fast, and wasn't cold temperature wise unlike ale.
The glass slid down the bar to him and she grabbed a glass to start cleaning it and used the moment to take a subtle but curious scan of his clothes, the one's he shucked and the one he still wore. She catalogued them away as her mind worked on his accent, just a bit different than the standard around here, "Food as well, or just drink?"
