This Could Be The Drug That Doesn't Bite Who: Antoine and Krishna What: Medical Advice When: Monday, January 23rd Where: Willoway's Pharmacy
Antoine always rather liked the way that Willoway’s smelled, there was something sharp and herbal about it. A product of decades of traditional medicines being prepared and sold over its hardwood counters. Pushing the pharmacy door open he relaxed just a touch as the scent hit him, a bell somewhere in the back signaling his arrival. It was just before noon, though for him it might as well have been dawn considering the hours he kept. The dark circles stamped under his eyes told the story of exactly how well he was taking it. Really though, It was his own fault for leaving his refill until the last minute. It was either come in now or try to get through a night in the lounge without the medicine that stayed the worst of his coughs.
Holding a lit cigarette in one hand, the other rested in his coat pocket. Taking shallow drags off of it, he meandered along the low display shelves. Looking over the neatly stacked tins of Aurellian herbal teas and creams Antoine couldn’t help but compare them against the stock of Clovennian powders and tinctures nestled alongside. The latter looked so clinical, so out of place in a shop like this one and yet the march of progress seemed to drum on. He took another inhale off the cigarette and coughed softly.
Finally, he made it to the back counter, drawing an empty blue powder bottle out of his pocket he set it down. “Hey, Boss,” He rasped at Krishna in stark Clovennian, leaning forward with his elbows on the counter like he was about to make idle chitchat with a bartender. He switched back to Aurellian, “How’s business?”
