"Hardly - but I'm sure you've noticed just how out of the way we are. New faces tend to stick out." Darrow offered, a small, apologetic smile quirking up her lips. "And, my job gets a lot easier when I know who's running around town," she added - a bit of an explanation. A promise that this was normal, she wasn't trying to put her on edge.
"A journey? Where're you from then? Can't imagine getting here was too easy," unless the woman came from Castyll anyway, but Darrow was willing to bet she hadn't. Or, hadn't stayed long anyway. She may have only stayed in that city for four years, but she remembered the kind of people there well enough. Sure, there was an easy tide of former country-folk and the like that tumbled into the city regularly and just as quickly wandered out (hell, she'd been one of them, at one point, even if she'd actually stuck around).
The other question of course, would be why Glynn?, but, for all Darrow tended to lack in social graces sometimes, she could recognize that piling on questions on someone who's name she didn't even know - especially when she wasn't working - was hardly the best option, even if she was curious. It was her home, sure, and she loved it, but...well. It was Glynn. Sleepy, easy, quiet Glynn. Not a whole lot of draw - especially with the estates cluttering up the place. Then again, work there had drawn in all sorts, so maybe she was another - she'd fit right in honestly.
