Well I've been dead all day Who: Teague, Fiona, and Blair What: Baggage and Casual Cruelty When: Thursday, January 4th. Late Morning Where: Belmont Manor, Blair's Room
The relief that had gone through the staff at hearing they would be going somewhere with heat was palpable. With most of the servants getting everything ready for a day or two of absence, Teague had been called to help pick up the slack. His abilities were well known by the staff, and so whenever anything needed to be carried or moved it wasn’t uncommon for them to ask him for help. He really didn’t mind it at all, even less since he’d been asked to move Miss Adler’s luggage and that meant he would get to see Fiona during the middle of the day.
He was very careful to change into his nicer uniform to go inside the house. Teague could only imagine the sort of apoplectic response he would have gotten for trying to wear his gardening overalls indoors. Moving cautiously up to the second floor, he knocked lightly on Miss Adler’s door. He’d only seen the woman from a distance, but hearing Fiona speak of her made him extra careful. She seemed to be capricious at best. Better to get this done quickly and quietly and then get out of the way to avoid making things difficult for Fi.
He stepped backward with his hands clasped behind his back.
