Still. She could not let her friend's personal feelings get in the way, so she added, softly but steadily, "But I have no objection to Morrigan's offer." She looked over at the woman in question. "Thank you for volunteering."
Fiona wasn't sure which would be worse; suffering from that poison or working for Adler, but Morrigan was clearly the better choice.
She turned to Bryn, now, "How likely is it that the poison, once the vial is open, might lose some of its potency? Are there many drugs like that?"
For all that Lachlan had made his point, she suspect, to spare his sister, it did not mean that it necessarily lacked all merit.
