I like to keep my issues strong Who: Lachlan and Fiona What: barriers breaking down, for a little while Where: an apartment in Glynn When: Sunday, April 3
Fiona had only needed to ask Algar if he might lend her his apartment for a few hours, and he had easily agreed. It was hardly the first time; it was difficult to be the leader of their local cell without having a place of her own to talk to people in private. Some other time, she would not have asked Algar to leave her to it, but tonight... tonight, after so long with no one to talk to, with Sabine a gaping hole in her chest for so many weeks (correspondence just wasn't the same), Fiona felt as if she might need to see her old friend one on one.
Algar didn't question her request, and she was thankful for it. He'd set some tea to steep before leaving her to it, and she was just pouring the tea into two mugs when there came the familiar knock on the door. She walked over and opened up for Lachlan, quickly closing it behind him.
"Thank you for coming."
This was hardly going to do anything for the silly rumors going around town, if they were noticed, but an affair was a better rumor to go around than the truth, in the end.
