Kell grinned at her back as she locked the door - seemed whatever tension had wormed between them earlier in the evening might be completely put to rest for now at least. He dropped an arm around her shoulder as she slipped into his space, as at ease as he'd been at the festival and falling into step beside her. It had been awhile since he'd had someone around that liked to press close for no other reason than to poke and tease - probably not since he'd been in Castyll, now that he was thinking about it. It was nice, in itself, but the giddy energy around them - the sense of accomplishment in a bit of mischief, and well done mischief at that - made everything just a little better.
And now he probably wasn't going to sleep, too giddy and quietly happy in a way that was a touch too rare these days. Shame.
"Well, I dunno if you can call it a success until you see the fallout, can you?" He offered, even as he leaned down just a touch so she didn't have to reach so high for the peck, just to be teasingly contrary. "For all you know, no one'll notice anything's up at all." Unlikely, and he knew it. This was way too specific and there'd been too many shadows hanging over her tonight for her not to have a very good idea what was going to happen, but where was the fun in pointing that out? They'd both poked at enough old wounds tonight anyway.
