It was hard not to giggle at the feel and sight of him weaving around her, her feet were quick and careful enough to avoid tripping because of it or accidentally stepping on him. Wouldn't that be a quick end to the friend--partnership? Anyway, it was a relief he was still there and alright. Not that she was afraid of him leaving or anything.
It was just. Nice. Is all.
Though she did give in and let out a quiet laugh as she locked the door behind them as she had found it, lockpicks falling out of her sleeve with ease as she went back at the lock with easy familiarity. The door and lock was a bit of home and as much as she hated to admit it (and wouldn't ever, out loud) home was never too far from her mind.
As soon as the locks clicked home she smiled at Kelly's energy. That sort of giddiness of a job well done one got away from unscathed she knew intimately, a bond only shared by those sorts that couldn't be replicated. Kelly's bored and laid back attitude he put on display may have been sincere, but his happy mood and little tricks were genuine as well--she'd bet on it. That was a mix she could get on bored with. An arm wrapped around his waist to pull him closer as she started away from the house back into the cover of the nearby treeline, "Aye. A success all around." She leaned up to press another kiss to his cheek, a habit she was already rather attached to, before she let him go but still bumped into him affectionately. He was still too tall but it fitted him(not to mention that it was useful.)
