"You know, for someone who complained about getting shot, maybe breaking into rooms with unsuspecting people is not the way to go about things, pup. Just a thought." Kell muttered from his spot stretched out on the bed. He'd been dozing lightly, half-expecting to hear from Wren, half-not, and not really caring either way since his meetings with Cal being cancelled for the rest of the week meant he had a whole week of early nights that he'd like to enjoy, whether Wren came through or not.
He wasn't too surprised she'd managed to find his room without help - maybe a little miffed, more than a little amused though. Leave it to her to steal his chance at needling her. Ah well, what could you do. Not like he was particular protective of his room anyway, so no real...suspicion flared at her popping in unannounced. It may have had his most recent collections, sure - ribbons and buttons laid out on the dresser, a stack of books on the floor by his bed, a handful of mix-and-matched chests with broken locks shoved into corners here and there - but, much as he liked them, there wasn't really anything in there that'd hurt him to lose. If someone wanted them so bad, they could have them. He'd just start a new one.
"Almost thought you'd changed your mind you know - or decided to leave me out of it." He continued, pushing himself up to sit crosslegged on the bed, shooting a cheeky grin her way. "Would've been sorely disappointed." Or he would've gotten some sleep and enjoyed the fallout later without actually having to lift a finger. Well, six of one, half a dozen of the other.
