To think, the first person she brought back to her rooms in Aurelle was Clovennian. Really she was probably doing herself a disservice, but she had a good gut feeling he was worth it. Briar wasn't the best judge of character, but she was pretty good at judging usefulness. What that said about her character was best not dwelled on.
Her door was the last one, and she leaned back against it as she pulled her key out from her apron.
"C'mon then, impress me." The grin disappeared, a daring smirk taking its place as her voice dropped and took on a huskier tone. Briar kept eye contact with him as she unlocked the door with ease, though her back was to the knob. The key was tucked back into her skirts smoothly as the door opened and she stepped back into the room.
The room spoke of someone who had just arrived, or otherwise not sure if they were staying. There were two decently sized bags of Aurelian make, both open but still neatly packed. There were a fair amount of cleaning supplies that dipped into the luxury territory in the bathroom that could be seen from the door, and the most personal thing in sight was a blanket on the bed. It betrayed her spoiled childhood, and one of the few fine things that she couldn't give up on a daily basis. A deep purple silk thing that was of unmistakable high quality covered the bed, too big for it by far and the only thing that would be hard to explain.
