She met his grin with an up-tilted scowl, defiantly folding her hands under her arms to further emphasize her previous promise of not helping him under any circumstances. Still, the precarious frailty of the branch he clung to did not escape her notice, and she was somewhat annoyed to discover that she'd been holding her breath until his feet (just barely) touched back down to earth again. He would go and ruin a nice moment by being completely foolhardy.
She didn't seem all too impressed, really, with the way he presented the bloom to her until she actually craned her neck to peer at it more closely and actually realized what it was. She reached out to gently take the flower from him, cradling it with fingers trained for delicate tasks, and stared at it a few moments. "You could have just sent a breeze to shake it free," she scolded, but without any real conviction. "You didn't need to show off. But... thank you."
