I keep pushing forward
Who: Beau and Tucker
What: Totally friendly dinner between totally friendly people
When: Friday Evening, March 25th
Where: Belmont Manor, Parlor
Beau arrived at Belmont Manor fifteen minutes before 7pm. He'd spent most of his day trying to avoid having to come straight there. Having been kicked out of his home for the quarantine, he'd spent some time walking around town but found he couldn't bear the smell of near rotting flowers for long. He'd ducked into the bookstore to browse and then the tea shop for a drink. He might've wandered by the bakery but found himself worried that he might run into Calvin there and that such a meeting might be awkward and look unseemly.
Finally, when he could no longer put it off, he took the car up to Tucker's estate. He had brought with him a small basket of clementine oranges and a bottle of wine, a sort of gentle peace offering that he hoped would at least keep them on good terms for a few minutes. He'd dressed in a dark, fashionable suit with a golden rose pin in his lapel. His dark hair was still a touchy floppy for Clovennian standards, falling into his face a bit and making him look a little more louche than intended but he was not going to get his hair cut to look proper for the Belmonts. He smiled politely at Irwin as he let him in, following the butler to the parlor.
