Krishna & Viola (& a brief sighting of a wild Lukas) | Mid-Afternoon | Town Circle
Viola nodded in agreement as she watched the boy rise over the heads of the assembled crowed, already sure that he would go through the extra petals Krishna had given him in within an hour. "I wouldn't be surprised. He certainly seems resilient, though." She looked over at the pharmacist. "Do let me know if you need my help setting a bone or something later." She had a vague recollection that one of the Aurellians had healing powers, but she couldn't remember which it was, or whether this particular boy was connected to them. And clearly he and the pharmacist knew each other well, for reasons that went beyond the fact that they were both locals.
At Krishna's question, Viola's eyes flicked unconsciously down to his medical (and flower) bag and an unexpected frission of shame pinged through her, for reasons she couldn't quite identify. As if, as a Clovennian, she shouldn't know anything about Aurellian medicine at all. But she lifted her eyes and said, "Given your feelings about Clovennian medication, I thought it unlikely for you to be carrying around rubbing alcohol. Besides, it wasn't a deep cut, and it would have stung worse." There was a beat of awkward silence, and then she added, her voice a little softer, "I had a concentration in Aurellian medicine in medical school."
