Her lips pressed together into a flat, unamused line, and the sigh she emitted was long-suffering. "We've scarcely even seen one another, truthfully, but I suppose you're referring to what happened after services the other week." She paused as she took another sip of ale, then quietly murmured, "He fell flat on his face at my feet, Fiona. In front of everyone." Her chuckle was more sardonic than amused, but she felt assured that her friend would find this as unsurprising as she did. "It was not discreet."
