Irwin & Beau | Afternoon | Town Circle
Beau inclined his head to the side just slightly, a cat-like little tick. So many questions at once. Naturally, any response he gave would be reported to Tucker and Blair but then he supposed they were going to find out about his return at some point, weren't they? The charm of the day had his mood too bright to care very much about their opinions. He watched Irwin draw himself up to his full height, tilting his head up as he did. He had vague memories from childhood of going over to play at Tucker's house and observing Everly's looming figure in some corner or other. Beau made a very soft hum of amusement.
"I came by carriage yesterday," He said with a cheeky grin, like it was a rather grand joke he was sharing with a friend. Which, in a way it might have been. A carriage ride down the mountains was long and fraught with danger. There was a reason Clovenne had switched to trains as soon as it had become clever enough to invent them. "Terribly scenic, the foothills. You should see them if you get a chance, Everly. Oh, have you tried any of the cider yet?"
