Viola rolled her eyes elaborately at her brother's teasing, though the little fluttering in her stomach made clear that the compliment had landed (though really, that had more to do with who they were speaking of, than who was delivering said compliment). "Don't be ridiculous, Bee," she chided him, though it was a weak rebuttal at best, especially considering that she had no good follow up.
So instead, she chased the other question as they waited in line for warm, tart dumplings. "That sounds like a necessity that I can get behind," Viola said, the kind of remark that she would really only make while tipsy, considering how much she tended to watch her waistline. But it was lovely to imagine a summer full of ice cream and no regrets. "Tell me about these fairies of yours. Did they hold you down and put flowers in your hair?"
