Aiden & Emmy - Later in the evening
Emlyn loved Turning Festivals, and she had been joyously and worshipfully participating and reveling in everything about the festival all day long. Once it had gotten to the celebratory part of the day, she hadn't really lacked for a dance partner that night, mostly because she'd asked pretty much anyone and everyone to dance with her, and had made a point of being very difficult to say no to. Yet, she'd certainly found herself looking around for Aiden a few times, and had never seemed to be able to spot him at the start of a dance.
But even though it was getting later, there was still plenty of time to dance when she finally heard that familiar and beloved voice.
"Oh, Aidan!" she said excitedly. She turned to face him so fast that the pretty dress Reagan had made for her swirled around her legs as she threw her arms around him in an exuberant greeting. "I've been looking for you! I would have been so sad if we hadn't gotten to dance tonight, so I'm so, so glad you found me!"
She giggled as she realized she didn't at all answer his question. But then, wasn't the answer obvious?
"Of course I'm having fun. It's been the most lovely Turning Festival. Praise Canwyn," she said, reaching up and brushing Aiden's flower crown, and then one of the many flowers she had woven into her own hair throughout the day. "You've been having fun too, I hope?"
