Emrys noticed the lines of her body relax and felt more comfortable himself. For all he knew, she was just a lady with whom he'd flirted before. He really did recall her face and her complexion, but yet he couldn't quite place her. Wherever he knew her from, it certainly hadn't been for long. Certainly not long enough to have caught a name, or he'd remember it, wouldn't he? Briefly he wished Madoc were with him. Perhaps his partner would remember where they knew the lady from. Emrys kept himself from frowning in thought. He couldn't have know her from before he met Madoc, could he? That had only been three years prior...in the Barrier Domain.
Only slightly more on guard now, Emrys's expression didn't change one whit. "Tis not flattery when it's truth. I feel remiss that I call your name to mind. I hope it is because I never knew it, and not that it has tragically slipped my mind. Ah, but if you find me familiar as well, then we must have met before. I am a well-versed traveler in fact. But what of you? Surely you are so young to be very well-traveled?" Emrys hoped he didn't know her from someplace he had to run from. Sapphire had been a safe place so far. There were bounty hunters after them, and though he sincerely doubted she was one, having multiple people recognize them here could be trouble. Perhaps it was time to study and take on a new face, if only for a little while.
