Rowena's first instinct when Emrys greeted her pleasantly was to relax and let her guard down. After all, it would seem she had met a familiar face and Rowena was always happier in familiar company. She had to remind herself that she was on the run and that a familiar face could be more deadly than a strange one.
Unsure where she knew the man from, Rowena dipped into a respectful curtsy as she had been taught at court. She figured it was safer to curtsy when she needn't than offend someone by disrespecting them. "You flatter me, my lord," she said softly. "There is no need for such courtesy. I am no one of any importance, though I admit your face is familiar to me as well. Have you traveled far?" She nearly slipped and mentioned the Barrier Domain but she figured that she should wait a bit, even as disarming as his smile was. She hadn't, after all, come this far only to be scooped up and brought back to the Barrier Domain.
