"Altered how?" Sibyla pressed, despite the fact that she sensed Leland's hesitation. Perhaps it wasn't fair to press him so, considering the fact that he was at least as sick as she, but Sibyla was desperate for information and even if she wasn't a healer herself, it seemed important to know how things were changing. Still, when Leland asked her about Everil's reading power, she nodded. "I believe that to be the case, yes," she confirmed, pausing to take another spoonful of soup. It seemed, though, that as she listened to his further conjecture that he answered her question, describing how things were taking on their exact opposite aspect.
In it's own way, it made sense, while making no sense at all. How could an illness even do that? It didn't seem right, or possible, and how would one fix it without using talents? It seemed beyond their power to do anything about it. "So it seems," Sibyla murmured quietly, agreeing with Lelands final statement with a heavy sigh. "And what does one do about an unnatural disease?" she added softly, knowing as she said it that Leland had no answers for her. The world, it seemed, had no answers for her these days.
