Everil opened her mouth to say that she was fine, thank you very much, when her better sense kicked in. This time she chose to listen rather than isolate herself further. "I thought I was," she managed, the weakness managing to slowly recede as she spoke.
Taking the offered hand, as well as the nearby table for support, since she wasn't sure the other woman's strength would compensate for Everil being so much taller, she was finally upright. She wavered once but then found herself feeling stronger than she had all day. Maybe she really was over it. The woman before her was impeccable to say the least, and she found herself taking to the soft way she had addressed her.
"I really am sorry about that, I don't know what came over me," Everil said, amazed at how she was feeling better so quickly when a moment ago she had been ready to collapse. It would be best to take advantage of meeting someone new, she couldn't help thinking. It was certainly a gift when she didn't have to manufacture a means of introduction deliberately and she was sure that she had seen the other woman around the tavern before she had taken ill.
"Thank you for your help," she said with a generous smile as she extended an arm to the shorter woman, "My name is Everil."
