Leland ignored how drained he felt as they walked. He needed some food, possibly some tea, and definitely some rest, but he would do so after he got Aoife home safely. Then Tegwaret opened up with a flood of information and Leland's eyes widened. He honestly hadn't expected that. The truth coming from him made Leland smile just a bit. Maybe Tegwaret intended to trust Aoife. Each one knew something about the other anyway; it was a safe deal to make. Silence for silence.
Despite being tired, Leland was a bit disappointed when their walk came to an end. "Well, I suppose we'll part ways here then. Get some rest, and perhaps have a nice cup of tea - chamomile or mint would be good, nothing too stimulating." He hesitated and then added, "Perhaps I can stop by sometime in the evening, make sure you're feeling better?"
It was just as well they were at her home. Leland needed to speak to Tegwaret, and preferably with some privacy. "And you're very welcome. By the way, Teg speaks the truth. His bounty was not born of illegal actions. We would just rather he not call much attention to himself." His gaze slid to Tegwaret again, a touch of concern still in his eyes. "It seems you both would like to go mostly unnoticed."
