Leland relaxed a little when Teg agreed to join them. He was sure if his friend would take the opportunity to shy away from someone he didn't know. Personally Leland thought it'd be healthy for him to meet a few new people, and as far as he could tell, Aoife was as sweet and safe as they came. He was glad that Teg had agreed to discretion, but when he asked for privacy, Leland's brows furrowed.
And then he realized what was going on. Granted he'd only used Teg's nickname, hadn't once said his full name out loud, but if Teg didn't want people to know he was around, sure Leland shouldn't have called him by name in front of someone Tegwaret didn't know. He didn't think Aoife was dangerous in anyway, but who knew if she might let something slip to just the wrong person, innocently? Leland bit his lip and cast an apologetic look at Teg. If he'd been quicker of mind, he might have thought of a way around it. Perhaps pretended Teg was short for something else entirely that wasn't going to be on bounty posters about.
But Leland knew little about stealth so it was up to Tegwaret to decide how to handle this, so long as it was something Leland could agree to help him accomplish. In the meantime, he guided Aoife out of the alleyway, listening as she let them know which direction to go. He smile a little, glad when she took his arm.
