Aoife hesitated for just a moment before taking Leland's offered arm. She hoped the flush of her cheeks was attributed to her very recent fever as she let herself be steered toward the opening of the alley.
She was surprised when Teg actually answered Leland. The woodsman hadn't said much at all since Leland arrived and Aoife had started to wonder if they weren't such good friends after all. But it was more likely Teg was just a man of few words, Aoife decided when he finally spoke up. "Privacy?" Aoife wasn't sure what he meant, but she nodded anyway. "I'll try my best. What is it you need of me?"
