Leland needed fresh air. He was overworking himself a bit, something that wasn't unusual for him. However this time, it was less healing others at the expense of his own health, and more researching what it would take to get this hostel set up. It was a lot more difficult than he imagined. It would actually have been simpler to buy a spot of land within the Domain because then at least he knew exactly who to go through: King Willem. Outside the domain, where the land didn't belong to one person, he had to determine how exactly to stake a claim, determine the amount of land needed, and find official channels to make it clear that land was his, so no one else could claim it.
It was actually a little frustrating simply because it was a brand new experience for him and he had little idea how to go about it. He'd made an appointment to talk to someone about it, but until then, he just needed to get out of the inn. Dressed in rich green, with his cloak about him, he headed out, smiling at the bustling city. Privately he couldn't really understand Teg's reluctance to be in the city. Leland, despite being a small town man born and raised, loved the amount of people moving about within the city. There was so much life, so much animation. So many people to meet, befriend, maybe more.
He headed for the general store, deciding to stock up on a few things while he was out and was surprised to see not one, but two familiar faces inside. He smiled first at Teg, greeting him, but when his eyes fell on Aoife, he frowned and his healer's instinct took over. "Aoife? What's wrong? Are you unwell?" An obvious questions certainly, but he did prefer to ask first.
