Dari chuckled. She was definitely warming to his rather formal way of speaking. The wild connection he had being outdoors, the need for open spaces, she most definitely could identify with him. She liked him.
“I empathize,” Dareshta said, still with a very open smile. “Let me gift you something then, for being so understanding when you did not have to be.”
Turning, she rummaged for a moment in her saddlebags. “If ever you wish to come to a performance, at least one that is sponsored by my clan,” she said, handing him a black scarf of firesilk, a red embroidered crest a circular dragon blowing flame from which its tail emerged, “this will allow you free admission. With a guest of course, should you wish. Personally, I would recommend the firedancers, but then, I am biased since I am one. The Sentinels are also impressive, when they perform. Both of my fathers occasionally do guest appearances.”
Dareshta looked back as her Sentinel murmured something in their dialect.
“Of course!” Dari exclaimed, “I wish we could speak longer, but I’m afraid I will worry everyone if my son and I stray for too long. I do hope you will come! If you wish, you might come and meet the dancers afterwards. Or anyone you would like," she laughed. "We should be holding our first shows within a fortnight.”
