Tegwaret thought for the briefest of seconds, "You know, I am as well. I don't nece..." He paused, exhaling and looking up towards the city. From between the trees, Tegwaret could see the slightest twinge of air heated from the rooftops and hustle of the city proper.
"I'm not necessarily ready for an onslaught of people, but," Nodding, he reaffirmed his smile and turned back towards Leland. "I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to get used to it, with gathering resources and the permits and all."
For a moment, his eyes glazed over as he watched Leland in thought. There was an urge inside of him to reach out and hug his long-lost, life-long friend. It was as if a handshake could not formalize this planning best for such two people. But, just as he was raising the gumption to do so, he remembered, the smell.
"I need new clothes..." Instantly, his heart and head fell.
