Tegwaret shrugged, keeping pace as he spoke. "I'm alright with being the strange man, I mean..." He glanced up towards the morning sun, taking in their position and checking the sky for cloud movement and any other weather patterns that might give light to their hunt. "My parents were both raised in the non-urban areas, they went to school and then returned to the forest. It's just...what I was raised on, to live off the land and live inside of it. I suppose not everyone is made for civilization."
Regardless of his current state of hiding, this had always rung true. Animals were safe, practical and easy to understand. Tegwaret had built a life around understanding and existing inside of nature. Going into an urban area made his skin crawl, it seemed so detached from nature, almost ignorant or lazy to what was our right and responsibility as humans on this planet. "No offense taken, I take pride in my connection to nature and while...you're right, you won't meet many people, it's the quality, not the quantity that matters to me. A person of the forest knows and respects their brethren, and that is the world I wish for me and mine."
