The forest was as much a home to her as her father's house was. She liked to think she knew the area rather well, and even when she went too deep she was always confident she could find her way back.
Even if it took a bit longer to do so.
Today was no different. She'd gone out to go find more animals for both food and to bring her father more furs but had ended up having to circle around the area she'd planned to go to. She hadn't liked doing so, the tracks had been promising, but when she'd heard the familiar sound of a nest of warnets she'd decided it was better then having to run into town to find a healer before she swelled up too much.
The bad part was she'd gotten into a part of the forest she didn't often visit and had lost her tracks. She didn't think it would please her father, but she knew he'd understand. At least she knew she was heading in the right direction.
The forest was usually filled with sights and noises she could recognize. The man who stood in front of what she assumed was a self made shelter was no one she knew. She frowned, glad she still had her bow with. "Euhm, hello?"
