Emrys gave her that bright smile again. "Quite a discount indeed. Now is it my dashing good looks or the desire to be sure I'm a repeat customer that's garnering me a price reduction?" He wiggled his eyebrows after he spoke, to show he was teasing, but his hands started straying toward his money pouch. No sense in trying anything shady so soon into coming here, considering they were trying not to draw excess attention.
"I'm most interested in the feathered one, as well as the wolf one for my partner," he admitted. "I fear it'd be selfish of me to think of keeping only myself warm this winter, so I'll be getting both." He listened as she spoke about the king, interested in the fact that even someone who'd grown up here found him as just and benevolent as he was rumored to be. Emrys found it difficult to belie a man in such power was so...good, but that might have just been his own view of things coloring it.
