Tegwaret started to protest, his mouth opening in defiance, but the smile on Leland's lips shut him up and his eyed the floor in boyish shame. Forcing a grin, he looked back up after a moment, blushing. "I'm just past the gate, I'll be there until you need me and I won't leave, so...just so you know. But okay."
He didn't think, just stepped forward, pulling Leland into a deep hug for a couple seconds before straightening his arms and standing back to appreciate the man. "I see you soon." After a couple more awkward seconds of just knowing that Leland was real and in his view, fortifying that in his mind, he turned to go.
