Tegwaret tried to keep a safe distance from Leland as they moved through the inn, pressing his back up against a wall near the door and watching the comings and goings with folded arms. The place seemed alright, but facades could hide all sorts of dangers, and Tegwaret was used to assuming the worst about society.
As Leland pulled him from his anxious reverie, he gathered his fretting eyes quickly to the man and nodded, crossing to close the hearing distance between them. "You sure you'll be safe here? I mean, do you feel comfortable?" His whispered, his forehead knit up in worry.
