Leland nodded at Tegwaret's comment and pushed the door open. He exhaled a sigh of relief when he saw that the place wasn't terribly crowded. There were some people on one end of the room sitting around tables and by a hearth, but at the other end was the innkeeper who looked up as they entered, and gave them a warm smile. The bar he stood behind was mostly clear of people and Leland thought that a good thing for Teg.
Leland cast a glance at the other man, making sure he was still following as he approached the innkeeper. "Good evening sir. I'm new in this domain and had a few questions about rooms?" When pressed to continue, Leland did so, asking first if he could board long term and, second how the man felt about having a cleric offer to heal weary travelers.
Leland could practically see the gears turning the in innkeeper's head. A healer withing the inn could certainly bring more business - people could expect a night's rest as well as relief from any wounds. "I'm fairly certain we could work out something that would work well for us both. Only a foolish man would turn away the offered services of a healer."
Leland smiled, figuring he'd save the negotiating details until later, when Teg wasn't likely itching in his skin, waiting to get away from so many people. "Looks like I'll be staying here then, Tef." Leland turned back to his friend.
