Tegwaret really liked the idea of Leland coming to visit him out in the copse. Of course, if he was a wiser man, he would not be so instantly appeased by such an excuse to not enter the town. Tegwaret, while thoughtful, wasn't a wise man.
As they entered the city, his sensors did flare up, his spine tightening a little as people randomly passed by and businesses churned out heat and patrons to and from the street. Such a flaring was good, however, a hunter's instinct, for it drew attention to the places around him, giving him a better sense of orientation and direction, a hyper-sense. He could even make out nooks and crannies between buildings that would let him weave through the town at top pace, to distract pursuers if needed. He didn't, however, notice the inn approaching until Leland drew his attention to it. His eyes darted up to the sign. "King and Queen's Inn. I hope the money to let doesn't match the namesake, but..." He glanced over at Leland's positive attitude and caught his own negativism. "No, it looks like a fine place, let's go in. But..." His eyes shied back to the building as he swallowed hard, "You'll do all the talking, of course."
