"No." Tegwaret knew he could suck up his courage for the time being. He wasn't staying inside those walls, not yet and he had been through and into towns many a time, but not for long. Of course, he had felt a slowly bubbling anxiety as the gates had come into view, his senses become even more aware, almost paranoid. It was times like this when he felt that he could almost feel his talents kicking in, even if there wasn't fire around.
"I'll see you settled, Leland. I need to know where you are anyway, in case of emergency." He turned a half-smile to the man, forcing the communication of comfort as much he could. How easy he could pass it off as being alert and aware, traits a tracker or hunter should have. Traits he did have, even if there were being fueled by a tinge of fear. "I'll be fine, it's more important that I know where you are. And..."
Tegwaret lifted his head, scanning the trees and environs. One thing he had habitually and professionally learned to a perfection was the ability to spot out natural hiding spaces, or ones that he could convert in a pinch. About 100 yards from the entrance, a small league of low-branched pine draped deep onto the plain floor. "There." He pointed. "Those pines, the trunks are large enough, the trees old enough, that spot will serve for my camp should you need me."
