Leland felt a little better now that Tegwaret had relaxed some. I was a little concerned though at the sudden release of what surely had been building since Leland made it clear he wanted to head inside to domain, into town. He understood Teg's worry about them falling out of touch again, especially so soon after having met again. He didn't know how difficult it usually was for Teg to connect with other people.
As the afternoon wore on into evening, the gates of the domain came into vie off in the distance. That was the main entryway in though, and not the way they were headed. Instead they came in a side way, attracting little to no attention that way. There was plenty of open land and trees dotting the area, even within the borders, and small settlements outside of town. But Leland wanted to head deeper in, towards the bustling town that would house a large inn for him to take up station.
He thought, however, that this was a good place to pause and gauge Teg's reaction. "How you doing? You want to stop here and I can continue into town or...?" He trailed off, waiting for Teg to answer.
