Leland nearly felt that look more that he saw it. He didn't have to hear his name on the other man's lips to know that they definitively knew each other. Up close now he could see familiar eyes, the most recognizable of all those features that tickled at his memory. It had been nine years, formative years that had changed them both, but Leland knew this face.
"Gods above, Teg, is that you?" Leland asked the question in a low tone, his voice quiet with surprise. It was unlikely, wasn't it, in a land so big that he'd managed to run into someone he'd known so well, someone who'd been a part of him in school. But unlikely of not, not matter how big the world, it had happened. Tegwaret, years older, taller than him even. "Teg, I can't believe it's really you!"
