Leland started eating as Tegwaret spoke, handing the wineskin over for the other man to drink when he took a break from speaking. The story saddened him immediately. Death of the innocent often did, but it took a turn for the worse, one Leland didn't see coming. The rest of the story turned his stomach a little and he paused in eating.
The very thought of bringing someone back from death was bad enough. Worse was the circumstances this Estroir wanted the man brought back for. Leland swallowed hard, shivering against his own feelings about necromancy. It took him a moment to collect himself but when he did, he spoke again. "It was a noble thing you did, Teg. I would have refused as well, bounty on my head be damned. To be honest, I would think less of someone who acquiesced to that request."
