Klara slept little - it wasn't that she didn't need sleep, she did, it was that sometimes nightmares crept in and she found staying awake was much easier than dealing with them. She'd told no one and expected to tell no one. She tended the plants in her room, read the books Peter helped her get to start preparing her for school in the fall. She was severely lacking in education and while she knew a lot, none of it was school worthy. Except maybe home ec. She was grateful for Peter - he had done a lot for her and she only hoped she could return the favor enough times over.
Dawn broke and she got up from where she'd dozed to prepare breakfast. She made everyone breakfast, set lunch out if people wandered in and had dinner on the table by 7pm every night. It varied in what she prepared but it was always delicious.
When Magnus had expressed interest in learning, she took him under her wing like a mother hen and began teaching him. Just like she taught Peter. She loved her newfound family - Steve, Magnus, Peter, Tony and so on - and she wanted to help them all in any form. With Magnus, it was cooking, today, and later plants. Which she was profoundly happy to help him with on both.
She moved quietly so she didn't wake the others, smiling as she saw him with a cup of tea for her. Her smile was bright, and wide. "Thank you!" she beamed as she took the cup and took a sip, sighing happily. "Good morning, Magnus, did you rest well?" she asked as she got things out for their morning.
"What did you want to work on this morning? Omelets today?" she asked, canting her head at him, taking another sip of the chai. "This is good, by the way."
