Rey Skywalker & Open.
Rey approached the picnic area cautiously. She didn't know what this "Memorial Day" was, but the sign she'd found attached to the door of the bungalow she'd woken up in had said there would be food and that was enough to pique her curiosity.
The aromas that filled the air made her mouth water and drew her in closer to where the people were gathering, closer to where everything was laid out. Rey had never seen so much food in one place before - and real food, too, not just rations. Her eyes grew wide as she approached the food table and it took a fair amount of self-restraint not to just greedily take large helpings of everything. Even not knowing what most of it was didn't keep her from wanting to try all of it. If it tasted half as good as it smelled...
Turning with a plated heaped full of ribs, wings and a few of the salads and holding a cup filled with what someone had called sweet tea, Rey searched for a place to sit and enjoy her feast.
