Being stuck to another person with a mere 6 feet maximum of distance to separate them was not Yelena's idea of a good time. As company went, however, May was easy to live with. All things considered, the past business week's worth of days could have been a lot worse in terms of awkwardness. With her privacy returned to her, Yelena relished in the simply joy of sleeping in her own bed and waking up alone. To celebrate her first day back to regular routine, she took herself out for brunch and then decided to go shopping. Yelena liked clothes shopping. She liked colorful fashion with its different styles and cuts and fabrics. The foremost reason being she had complete freedom of choice. She was used to putting on different clothes, styling her hair, and doing makeup to portray different people when she was on a mission. Usually given to her as a job, even if it wasn't when she was forced to do things under the influence of chemical subjugation. Here, now, she was able to pick out things completely for herself. Walking through the rows upon rows of clothing racks at the local vintage store, she stopped here and there to casually browse. She flipped through selection idly, not looking for anything in particular. The last event she attended was Rose's impromptu birthday party. She hadn't done any special shopping that time, since it was put together so quickly. Even so, she would happily take any excuse to spend her hard-earned money on more things to wear. |
