Wanda wasn't entirely sure what to believe about all of this. It was apparent that she was someplace else. Not the outskirts of Westview, which she had just been walking away from. It wasn't any form of home, not that she truly had a home anymore. The Avengers tower had been sold. Tony and Natasha were both gone. Steve was... wherever he had gone. Wanda didn't have anywhere to call home any longer and she hadn't been certain where she would go or what she would do now, after everything, but being magically transported to some other dimension certainly hadn't been it.
Seeing that Tommy was here has almost made it worth it and knowing Tony lived here, as well, had warmed her shattered heart, but Pietro. Somehow, it was more unbelievable that Pietro could be here than any of the others. Perhaps it was that he'd been gone much longer. Perhaps it was that Agatha had brought that imposter version of her brother into her Westview. Wanda would have brought Pietro back if she could have, but she couldn't believe him actually being here in the flesh was possible. Not until she saw him for herself. She wanted to believe she would know if it was real or a trick once they were standing face to face.
Wanda stood on a stretch of beach outside bungalow number 5. She'd decided to take a walk and get some air shortly after her arrival and was on her way back now to the place that would apparently be her home now. She'd been considering whether she should head back inside until the messages from someone claiming to be her brother and now she stood there, waiting for him to come and prove it to her.
