It took Peter naming the strangeness of their circumstances for MJ to soften. A not-often-used muscle to twitch in the corner of her mouth. A small half-smile of sorts. She's been around long enough now to believe what the others on the island were telling her. Conspiracy theorist that she could be, it didn't take too long for MJ to take it in and roll with it, after explanations were provided to the best of everyone's knowledge.
"It's fine," she said, a little brusquely in her awkwardness. It must be difficult having his aunt, especially, be from a different point on the timeline than him. Clearly they had adjusted, but MJ tried to focus on that rather than her own off-kilter feelings. "How much later?"
She didn't know too much about this Happy, but she could put two and two together from the comment interactions. Happy was some kind of employee of Tony Stark, at least in the past, in their world. He and Peter's Aunt May seem to be together here. They must have met through Peter and Mr. Stark's Avengers adventures. One big happy family.
MJ turned away at the strange pang that left her with, under the guise of ushering Peter into the bungalow. "I was gonna see if there was any coffee I could make." She headed in the direction of the kitchen. "Decaf, to mix with regular, to cut down on the caffeine intake at this time of day. Want one?"
